This week a group of top industry experts headed to the FAD London HQ, where they had the difficult task of choosing who would be the winner of this years’ FAD Junior Awards!
The panel of nine judges included Louise Ibak from our sponsor George, (who’ll be offering a work experience placement to the winner of the Junior Awards 2013!) Tara Viggo from River Island, Martyn Roberts from Fashion Scout, Simon Glazin from MuseTV and Louise Schols from Dorothy Perkins as well as past FAD winner, Asha Simpson and long time FAD supporters, Clare Moldoon, Helen Carter and Susan Aubrey-Cound.
With our judges assembled they began the big debate, looking over each finalist’s garments in great detail.

All the judges were incredibly impressed by both the hard work and effort put in by the finalists but after an afternoon of critiquing, head scratching and tea drinking, they finally chose their overall FAD winner!
The winner will be announced at the FAD Junior Awards show on the 17th September but until then – it’s top secret!
