It’s rapidly approaching that time of year when the FAD team dusts off their summery fashion rags and hotfoots it over to Graduate Fashion Week in support of young design talent.
At this year’s event FAD will be busy launching the 2015 FAD Competition. We are also very proud to be working with Fashion Futures sponsors, the amazing George at Asda, on exciting opportunities for FAD teens.
By George!
George have been an FAD industry partner since 2011. They are also headline sponsors of GFW, which is great news for UK undergraduates.
George’s financial support makes a huge difference to FAD. The money they give provides workshop places for disadvantaged young people, as well as funding the FAD Junior Awards showcase at London Fashion Week.

The George design team also actively volunteer their time to projects – from speaking at FAD career days and volunteering in workshops, to supporting past Fashion Futures students through the FAD mentoring scheme.
This year George have set Fashion Futures teens two customising challenges. See the creative results displayed at the George stand and meet the young people behind the designs on Saturday 31st May.
The FAD Competition
Monday 2nd June will see the official launch of the 2015 FAD Competition at GFW. We can’t wait to unveil the new brief!
The FAD team are looking forward to catching up with university tutors and seeing the latest work from our talented 2014 FAD Competition winners and finalists. Look out for Ivy’s preview of their graduate collections coming to the FAD blog next week.
